A picture of a Photo Enlarger - device for making thoto images.

To make the photos you will need a Dark Room. For the black-and-white process - you can use the red-light lamp. The black-and-white photo-paper is not sensitive to red color light. But for the color processing you will need a special lighting and a special Photo Enlarger. It should have a color mixing head to balance the colors on the negative and photo paper. Different brands have slightly different sensitivity for each of the three main colors. Yes - there are three different colors to mix before exposing the image on photo paper. Another thing - the photo paper that we use with the printers will not work. You need special photo sensitive paper. Some great videos are on the right!
